Blu Fox® Glossy half-soles in TPU facilitate shoemakers in repairing and protecting any kind of shoe. Innovative material, easy to work with because it does not require roughing, wear resistant, excellent aesthetic finish.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
OF MODIFIED THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE (TPU)
Carefully selected, specially modified TPU is lightweight, durable, non-slip, highly water resistant, and has excellent elasticity.
It remains soft in every season and does not give off bad odors.
Glossy finish, ideal for elegant high fashion shoes. dowel liftPrimer pre-gluing treatment eliminates need for roughing phase, making the gluing process faster, more practical and convenient, while guaranteeing superior adhesion.

The most common hardness values of half soles, heels, and dowel lifts are in the range of Shore 60A (soft) to Shore 90A (hard), depending on specific footwear needs.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Thoroughly clean the surface of the shoe. Spread an even layer of adhesive on both parts to be glued. You can use any type of glue, cold neoprene or hot polyurethane.
If neoprene glue is used, let the solvent evaporate. If the adhesive has dried too much, heat for 6–8 seconds.
If polyurethane glue is used, wait about 20 minutes and reactivate with heat. The wait and reactivation times vary according to the type of glue used; carefully read the instructions for the chosen glue.
Apply the half sole to the sole of the shoe.
Apply pressure to ensure optimal adherence between half sole and shoe.
